1. Overview

ShePower Club ("we", "us") provides a private community platform for women professionals. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

Account information: name, email, phone number, password (hashed), date of birth.
Profile data you provide: bio, city, headline, expertise, interests, social links, photos.
Community activity: posts, messages between accepted connections, kudos, event RSVPs, challenge completions, assessment responses.
Device data: push notification tokens, device platform, app version, IP address, basic diagnostics.
She AI chats: messages you send to She AI are processed by a third-party AI model provider to generate replies and are saved in your account so you can revisit them. They are not used to train AI models, are not shown to other members, and are deleted when you delete the chat or your account. She AI replies can be wrong and are not professional advice.
Verification selfie: during signup we ask you to take one selfie with your device camera. It is stored privately, seen only by you and our admin team to confirm your application, never shown on your profile, never shared, and never analysed by AI or facial recognition. It is deleted when your account is deleted. We only access the camera when you tap to take the selfie.
No payment data: membership is free; we collect no payment or card information.

3. How we use information

Operate the community: matching, messaging, events, leaderboards.
Personalise recommendations and your 7-Pillars growth path.
Send transactional emails (account, security, requests) and notifications you've opted into.
Detect abuse and enforce our Community Guidelines.
Comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with: (a) service providers who help us operate the app (hosting, email delivery, AI moderation, push delivery), under contract; (b) other members in ways you control via your profile and connection privacy settings; (c) authorities when legally required.

5. Your choices

Edit or hide your profile at any time from Profile → Edit.
Manage notification preferences in Profile → Notifications.
Block and report members you don't want to interact with.
Request account deletion from Profile → Membership. Your account is permanently purged 30 days after approval.

6. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Deleted accounts are purged within 30 days. Backups and audit logs may retain de-identified records for up to 90 days.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, password hashing, leaked-password protection (HIBP), and row-level access controls. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

8. Children

ShePower Club is intended for users 16 and older.

9. International

Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use lawful transfer mechanisms.
